In the book, Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue, we learn the correct way to meditate. Meditation has been practiced for centuries. Even ancient Chinese philosophers found value in stopping each day to clear the mind and let go of stress.
Try to connect with your heart during meditation. What are your deepest longings? If you come across any unpleasant emotions, sort them out and deal with them. Meditation is all about letting rid of distracting ideas. It’s about looking into your heart more closely. What do you have reason to be grateful for? What exactly are you concerned about?
Take a deep breath and let it all go. Write down a list of your most pressing concerns. Why are your worrying? Is this helping or hurting? Fold up the piece of paper, hold it out in front of you. Close your eyes and imagine that the paper is disappearing. As it does, all your cares and worried are disappearing.
Now give thanks to the universe. You’re a part of something remarkable. The small worries certainly don’t matter in the long run. There are infinite possibilities all around us. The cosmos is a vast place with mysteries that we must strive to discover. This is where we should focus our time and attention.
This is a quote from Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue:
In this lifetime to achieve a heightened meaning and value of the soul is the most basic requirement of the human nature yet a far cry from most of us. Where are happiness and grace?
